Japanese food Dining cluster @ Emporium Shokunin

A new wave sweeping through Singapore is dining clustering.  In Fukuoka,  Kyushu, we came across a ramen stadium. Nothing more than a cluster of ramen shops. Instead of competition, coming together is good for business as diners are more likely to frequent the venue than standalone restaurants.

Recently we checked out Emporium Shokunin at Marina Square which has 8 Japanese concepts including Japanese seafood and snacks.

When I was dining at GYUU, OCBC credit card had a 30% discount promotion. $100 per pax eat all you want. Timing is controlled. You enter at 630pm and finish at 8pm. They’ll chase you out as the next table arrives. Surprisingly we were out by then as we’re just too full.

Miyazaki beef, Wagyu beef, scallops, vegetables, sweet potato and even ice cream.

We were there for lunch and dinner. At lunch this kind gentleman helped us as I’m not good with BBQ and he doesn’t want to spoil a good piece of meat. The promotion ends on 30 Oct 2016.
