I recently went to Odette at the National Gallery for a staycation lunch with a friend to celebrate 20 years of friendship.
We had a great time. I didn’t have trouble making reservations over Chope but was told by friends that the queue was 3 months. Guess we were lucky. Just don’t pick a Sunday or a Monday.
Hokkaido Saba grilled and smoked tartare with dashi jelly and yuzu
Rosemary smoked organic egg with smoked potato chorizo and buckwheat
Rhone Valley White Asparagus with Iberico de Bellota and black truffle coulis
My favourite is the palate cleanser.
Cucumber with bay leaf infusion
Served with wabi sabi imperfect spoon. No two spoons are alike. In their imperfection, they’re so perfect.
