Tulipmania 2016 at Gardens by the Bay

Next change at Gardens by the Bay Singapore! A year long membership is certainly worth it. Place to bring the kids in the summer heat. Beware that carpark queue can be horrendous. So go on a weekday.

So pretty maids all in a row.

Inspired to take out your easel.

Where in Holland can you view these beautiful tulips?

The theme is Turkish. Notice the pale blue tiles. That’s because tulips originated from Central Asia and Turkey before being introduced to European gardens. The botanical name for tulips, Tulipa, is derived from the Turkish word “tulbend” or “turban”, which the flower resembles. It’s considered as the King of Bulbs.
