Playing mahjong?

Just for one Sunday morning a month, I wake up early and exercise! Along the civil district, in the morning and enjoy the beautifully spruced up building.

An activity for everyone.

After an hour of free zumba class, try urban walking ? Maybe next car free Sunday.

If breaking out in a sweat is not your thing, chill out to cool aircondition and music at the Victoria Concert Hall.

My favourite activity: breakfast at Prive by the Asian Civilisations Museum.

Love these simple Marie biscuits and the pretty turquoise colors!

It’s not even lunch time, I took the bus home – car free Sunday. Maybe it’s the satisfaction of a well spent morning or the endorphin high from exercising. Maybe that’s why we’re smiling more. The UN recently named Singapore, happiest country in Asia. Happiness is a mindset.

Wow. I’m certainly coming back to the Civic District to check out the National Gallery and the Museums. Can’t wait for the next car-free Sunday in May (last Sunday).

Where: Civic District, Singapore
Getting there: Cityhall MRT station
When: Last Sunday of the month, 7am-1030am
What to do: Cycle, paint, zumba, yoga, walk, museums open at 9am.
